After graduating from a Bachelor of Nursing and a Graduate Diploma in Midwifery, Linda has worked in different areas of patient care across metropolitan and regional Australia.
In her role as patient liaison involves Linda supports patients prior to their procedure, discussing their needs and addressing any concerns or questions. Postoperative phone calls are made to those same patients to assess their wellbeing and identify any issues. The follow up phone calls also provide an opportunity for debriefing and ensuring any further appointments or management has been arranged.
Linda is particularly interested in supporting patients and their families to be active participants in their own health experience to ensure they achieve the best possible outcome.
